As outlined in this interview, Zenith Energy’s solar project for Independence Group’s (IGO) Nova nickel mine represents an excellent example of how the falling price of solar energy is reinforcing the positive business case for renewables.

In the two years since the initial cost assessment for the integration of approximately 6 MW of solar PV, the price of solar has continued to fall so that the project now has the potential to be funded on a commercial basis, without the need for government subsidization.
