Announcing the Second International Forum on Zero Carbon High-Temperature Minerals Processing (HiTeMP-2)
Following a very successful inaugural meeting in 2018, the University of Adelaide’s Centre for Energy Technology is delighted to invite delegates to attend the Second International Forum on Zero Carbon High-Temperature Minerals Processing (HiTeMP-2), which will be held from March 16 – 18, 2020 at the National Wine Centre, Adelaide.
The High-Temperature Minerals Processing (HiTeMP) Forum is emerging as the leading global forum fostering the transformation of heavy industry towards net-zero CO2 emissions. The relevance of this topic is growing with each new announcement of carbon-neutral targets by major international high-temperature processing companies, in response to emerging markets for low carbon products.
The HiTeMP-2 Forum will bring together global leaders from industry, research, investors, non-government agencies and policy-makers to chart the pathway for heavy industry toward net-zero-CO2 emissions, addressing the need for heat, chemicals and electricity.
The forum will address global drivers, emerging technologies and current trends for the processes to decarbonise iron/steel, cement/lime/alumina and new-energy-metals. Engage with key stakeholders, participate in discussion and help shape a carbon-constrained future for the new, low-carbon economy. Register today. Early bird registration ends on Monday February 4.
